All Coreflect reflectors have passed stress tests in facilities authorised for the testing of personal protective equipment, before the measurement of the CIL value entitling to the CE marking. The reflectors are first exposed to heat, and then to cold, rain, dropping, abrasion – the reflective characteristics of the reflectors are checked only after this.
Stress tests portray the usage and storage conditions of reflectors that the reflectors must endure, while still maintaining the safety requirement stipulated for a reflector. Additionally, the CIL value as well as the tightness of the seams is checked every two hours during the manufacturing stage. Every production batch is also documented.
